Vest in quilted designs are stuffed with unique kind of cotton that is cultivated in Rajasthan. This cotton is also beaten in a special way making it extremely light. Top fabric is handloom woven fine cotton (to keep the vest light weight). The fabric is block printed in Sanganeri style prevalent in Jaipur. The designs of the block prints with floral motifs reflect the Persian influence from 17th century. In Rajasthan more colorful and vibrant colors are preferred. These vests are to be worn as casual wear only and they go very well with solid color shirts. They also complement very well matching embroidered leather shoes from Rajasthan.
